There are many forms of Karate recognized by different organizations. The World Union of Karate-do Organizations (W.U.K.O.) recognizes Goju-ryu, Shito-ryu, Shotokan-ryu, Wado-ryu, Shorin-ryu, Uechi-ryu, Kyokushinkai, and Budukan.
